We report to parents formally three times a year. However, parents are welcome to make a time to meet with the teacher through the year if they have any queries or concerns.
Our formal reporting cycle is outlined below;
At the end of Term One parents are invited to a parent meeting to discuss the progress their child is making, and to find out what things the child and teacher will be focusing on next.
At the end of Term 2 we hold three way conferences. The conferences enable our learners to share their National Curriculum Levels, learning goals and achievements with their parents.
At the end of Term 3 parent/teacher interviews are held if learners are at risk of not achieving their end of year National Curriculum Level.
A final report is sent home at the beginning of term 4. This report outlines the strengths and weaknesses of each child, and identifies next step learning that will be taking place in the classroom. If required, parents are then invited to parent meetings to discuss the progress, and next steps for learning for each child.
